HOW IT WORKS

You can apply for your own press-card today! Simply enter your data and we will take care of everything else. In just a few days you will already identify yourself as an accredited member of the DFJ e.V.

You can apply for the press-card in just a few minutes. If you would like to become a member of the German Association of Photo Journalists, you don't even have to go to the mailbox: the application can be completed online. All data given will of course be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties. If there are problems with the online application, you can print it out and send it to us by post. Here you can find our Application-Form as pdf-file.

What we need from you

The Membership in the DFJ e.V. costs EUR 69,00 per year and can be paid by invoice, PayPal or direct debit. From June you can apply for membership for a half-yearly fee of 34,50 euros. A one-off processing fee of EUR 20,00 is charged for the first registration. In return, in addition to the automatically renewed press pass, you will also receive a press sign for your car, which identifies your company car as journalist doing research. Proof of your journalistic activity is required - this must be full-time or mostly full-time. In addition, we need the following data from you:

• Name and address
• Date of birth
• Email address
• Phone or mobile number
• personal specifications.

By the way: There is no admission fee for active photographers from the AnyPix picture agency.

Picture?

In order for your press-card to become official, we need a passport photo of the card-holder. This can be uploaded as part of the application; Usable file formats are GIF, JPG and PNG. Please make sure that the picture allows clear identification!

The international press-card

If you wish, you can also apply for an international press-card. This identification document, which is written in English and in four other languages on the back, is usually recognized abroad without any problems. The international press-card is available as part of an extended DFJ membership, which increases the annual fee by 20 euros.
